TOGETHER WE STAND

A collaboration between Tudor Rose and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), to coincide with the first World Humanitarian Summit (Istanbul, 23–24 May 2016).

Deep Roots was co-published by Tudor Rose and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations to commemorate the 2014 International Year of Family Farming (IYFF).

Family Futures was published by Tudor Rose in cooperation with DESA-DSPD for the 20th Anniversary of the International Year of the Family (IYF) in 2014.

FREE FLOW

Free Flow is a co-publication between Tudor Rose and UNESCO to commemorate the International Year of Water Cooperation 2013. The book was co-launched by the Director General of UNESCO and the Hungarian President at the World Water Summit in Budapest in October 2013.

CLIMATE EXCHANGE

A co-publication between Tudor Rose, the Global Framework for Climate Services (GFCS) and the World Meteorological Organization (WMO), Climate ExChange was published to coincide with the Extraordinary Session of the WMO Congress in October 2012.

FORESTS FOR PEOPLE

Forests for People is a fully illustrated 300-page book for the International Year of Forests. With over 100 authors relating their work in sustainable forestry, it launched in January 2012 at the closing ceremony of Forests 2011.

RISK RETURNS

Published in April 2011 for launch at the 3rd Global Platform for Disaster Risk Reduction, Risk Returns focuses on the experiences and livelihoods of people in vulnerable human habitats and shows how natural disasters have shaped their lives.

TOMORROW TODAY

Tomorrow Today was published for UNESCO in 2010 as part of ongoing efforts in promoting the United Nations Decade of Education for Sustainable Development (DESD) (2005–2014). The book features more than 75 authors relating their work in education for sustainable development.

DIGITAL OUTREACH

Digital Outreach was created in collaboration with ITU, the leading United Nations agency for information and communication technology issues. The book showcases the theme adopted at the ITU Council 2009 session, “Better city, better life with ICTs”, and marks the World Telecommunication and Information Society Day held in 2010.

CLIMATE SENSE

Climate Sense is a collaboration between World Meteorological Organization (WMO) and Tudor Rose with the aim of delivering effective knowledge about climate prediction to decision makers. The book was launched at World Climate Conference-3, Geneva, in 2009 by Mr Michel Jarraud, Secretary-General, WMO.

Group on Earth Observations(GEO) was launched in response to calls for nternational collaboration in exploiting the growing potential of Earth observations to support decision-making. In 2007, Tudor Rose worked with GEO to produce this book, bringing together the views and experiences of earth observation experts from across the world.

Know Risk Epidemics was published in May 2005 to mark the 58th World Health Organization World Health Assembly in Geneva, 2005. the book addresses the ways that regional, national and local authorities can increase preparedness for emerging infectious diseases

KNOW RISK

Launched at the World Conference on Disaster Reduction in Kobe, Japan, in 2004, Know Risk is a collaboration between Tudor Rose and the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction (UNISDR) to show how people around the world are living with natural and related environmental and technological risks, detailing how they are trying to reduce their exposure to disasters.

2003
DESALINATION AND WATER RE-USE

The sister publication to Freshwater Future, Desalination & Water Re-Use was published in December 2003 to address solutions to global freshwater challenges in preparation for 2005–2015, designated the International Decade for Action ‘Water for Life’

FRESHWATER FUTURE

Published in July 2003, Freshwater Future formed an integral part of the International Year of Freshwater in 2003. The book provides a comprehensive view of water projects and initiatives supported by the UN, giving all agencies and organisations dedicated to protecting global water resources a chance to commit publicly to improving the world’s water supplies

1999
NATURAL DISASTER MANAGEMENT

Published 1999, Natural Disaster Management was produced to mark the end of the International Decade for Natural Disaster Reduction (IDNDR), a United Nations initiative to reduce the negative effects of natural disasters.
